Cardamom seeds recall the flavor of clove, pepper, sassafras and allspice and are prevalent in Turkish and Indian cuisine. Cardamom seeds are featured especially in curries from southern India because of their sweetness and subtle bite. The spice can also be found in spiced chai and Scandinavian sweet dishes.
